What We Do
On-Site Bible Studies
Inside Out of South Carolina, Inc. provides Bible studies for children and teens in multihousing neighborhoods. Teams of volunteers teach a Bible story, provide a snack, craft and games each week in communities where many families do not have a church home. Weekly volunteers build relationships with these families in order to show them God has a plan for their lives and how to know Him personally.
English Classes
Often residents request beginning English classes to help them in their daily lives. Inside Out of South Carolina, Inc. will create a team to lead a small English class within that neighborhood. Mothers wanting to learn how to communicate with a child's teacher or make a doctor's appointment, most often are the students in these classes.
School Supply Give-Away
At the beginning of the school year, Inside Out of S.C. distributes school supplies to the children within our community bible studies. Churches, businesses, and individuals donate supplies or the funds to purchase these supplies.
The "Christmas Store"
Each year Inside Out offers the families in our bible studies the opportunity to choose new toys from our Christmas Store in December. Parents come and choose two new toys and several stocking stuffers for each child in their family. Volunteer serve as "shopper helpers," organizers, purchasers of toys with funds donated, and share bibles and gospel tracts with parents as they come through the line.
